Meet our new library assistant!

Mollie and her sidekick, Tiddles

We are excited to welcome our new library assistant, Mollie Hawkins! She just moved to California from Birmingham, Alabama, and is enjoying the sunshine (but also kind of misses the rain). She has previous experience in a public library and really wants to be a humor essayist when she grows up. She has a slight Southern accent (ask her to say “pie”), and she does not know how to fry chicken, but don’t tell her mom that.

Mollie also has a sidekick, Tiddles, who stars in her blog and enjoys traveling to random places and has been known to hang out in deserts, famous bookstores, airplanes, and dozens of coffee shops across America.

Books in the library!

We’ve made so much progress in the library this week! We had 61 boxes and 53 carts of books and library supplies to unpack. We are almost there! Just in time for school. Whew!
